Quality Engineer – Capital Projects
Location – Reading area
Package – £33,850 – c£44,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Provide local Quality expertise to support numerous internal or external stakeholders
Work as part of a cross functional team to deliver improvement through collaboration on projects and programmes
Support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contributing to capab ility development
Attend design/technical/task reviews, defect reviews and stakeholder meetings as required to ensure Quality is represented
Control of inspection/calibration/reporting and processes, to ensure Quality delivery is maintained
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
A recognised qualification in a relevant subject
Good knowledge of the national and international standards for quality and business management systems, in a Nuclear and/or Civil Engineering environment
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related standards (e.g. Hea lth & Safety, Environment, Security)
Un derstanding of improvement techniques, such as Lean, Six Sigma, RLI, etc
Experience of ensuring Customer satisfaction and the tools and processes utilised in measuring business performance and delivery
Strong inter - personal/negotiation/communication skills
An exceptional attention to detail
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
