Manufacturing Engineer – Grade D
Manufacturing Engineering is an integral part of BAE Systems Air, and our engineers play a central role in ensuring the delivery of Project to schedule, cost and customer expectations. They provide a high standard of technical support and production expertise across a wide range of manufacturing technologies. This helps to influence the generation of the Design data set, and subsequently enables its conversion into excellent, cost effective products. Our engineers are therefore involved in all phases of the life cycle of our projects, from new business, design through development, manufacturing and in-service support.

Tool Design Engineers
Electrical Process Planning Engineers
The type of person we are looking for includes:

Someone who has excellent organisation skills with an ability to plan and execute plans and procedures and to work independently to successfully complete tasks.
Have a minimum of HNC, or recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
Some knowledge and/or work experience within composite, machining and/or assembly engineering
Experience working in a support role and troubleshooting problems
The ability to perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to stop problems from re-occurring
SAPCAMS (or similar) experience
Catia (V5 ) experience
Camio (or similar)
