The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge & experience working in a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation and hold or previously held full ARC Form 4 approval. The scope of the role encompasses the accomplishment of Airworthiness Reviews and Airworthiness Engineer duties making the role varied, thus providing the successful applicant with a broad understanding and knowledge of Airworthiness departmental responsibilities. Applications are welcome from Licensed Engineers or Part M personnel with extensive knowledge/experience who meet the M.A.707 criteria.

How you will make an impact as Airworthiness Engineer
There are many ways for you to get involved:
Actively control and endorse the standards of the continuing airworthiness management tasks, consistent with M.A.201 assuring; aircraft is maintained in an airworthy condition, including operational and emergency equipment, certificate remains valid and the maintenance of the aircraft is performed
You will be required for stand by duty on a weekly basis covering ‘out of hours’ contact on a rota basis to support the business needs
You’ll also develop processes, procedures, compliance reports and carry out the Airworthiness Reviews in accordance with M.A.710 (a) and Subpart I including; full documented review, physical surveys, transfer of aircraft registration, aircraft imported into the EU
It will be your responsibility to review all legislation pertaining to continuing airworthiness management
And you’ll assist & provide guidance on NCR root cause analysis
What you will bring to TUI as Airworthiness Engineer

Must hold / or have previously held an EASA Form 4 for full Airworthiness Review approval (ARC Signatory)
Must be able to fulfil the requirements of AMC M.A.707 (a) Airworthiness Review Staff
A good knowledge of Part M, Part 145, Part 147 & Part 21, maintaining currency in the industry through journals, publications etc.
Good IT skills & good working knowledge of TUI Airways’ operating system (AMOS)
Ability to plan and organise in a methodical and analytical manner

Broad knowledge and understanding of a range of techniques to manage process change & quality improvement
