Engineering fitter (Level 3)

6kVA and 800kVA including diesel, hybrid, battery and solar models, we’re

ancillary products including fluid storage tanks, distribution boards, power
cabling and specialist anti-vandal storage containers.
We have an experienced and dedicated team able to serve all of Britain,
available 24 hours, 7 days, 365 days a year. This means we can install,
commission service and maintain equipment for you when and where you
need it. With our free surveys and site preparation services, we’re able to
help no matter where you are in the country.

To maintain full and safe operational functionality and presentation of a wide range of Wernick Power Solution hire equipment and accessories.

The objective is to maximise equipment safety, reliability, availability and presentation. Also, to load and unload equipment, cleanliness of workshop and yard space
Five GCSE's (Or equivalent) at grade 4 and above in Maths, English and Science.
Passionate about all things Engineering, this role will bring together mechanical and electrical techniques and put them to use in a temporary environment across all business sectors
Passion for travelling throughout the South East and liaising with all types of customers from hospitals, construction, ministry of defense, education
Outgoing personality able to work individually or in a team as required
Someone who works on own initiative with limited instruction
Very positive attitude towards life and work who is able to be flexible with work commitments within a 24/7 operating business
Absolutely must want to learn and develop and take responsibility for own future
Must be able to cope with a fast paced environment in which direction can change from minute to minute
A desire to learn and develop in line with new technology releases and appreciate how to incorporate new and old for best results
Engineering Fitter Level 3
Delivery of In-House Competency Training Plan (Skills).
Delivery of Level 3 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) at College (Knowledge).
Level 2 Functional Skills (if not exempt)

This role will develop the candidate into an all round specialist in the sector; work is a real mix of indoors, outdoors, various site locations and equipment types
To become a Service Engineer who can service, maintain, install, commission and fault find on our mechanical and electrical products such as diesel generators, battery storage, electrical cabling and distribution In addition this person could become a future Service Centre Manager at one of our depots or choose a management position in a technical discipline
