As a Bio Medical Engineer, you will be working at multiple Medical environments daily, where you will be carrying out the required Test and Calibration on medical devices and will deliver work programmes in line with planning and supervisors instructions in accordance with relevant industry standards.
JPen Medical is an established test and calibration supplier to the NHS, private healthcare providers, UK residential care and a range of other business sectors which use medical equipment and devices. Established in 2004 we work with 5000 customers nationally to optimise and maintain high value medical capital assets. Our trusted relationships with leading global manufacturers enable reputable high-quality technical knowledge and skill to play a key part in our service. Based in Tamworth we plan and schedule nationally for our field based engineers.
Although we have engineers based across the UK, as a national business there may be a requirement to travel, therefore a company vehicle & fuel card is provided as well as accommodation/food allowance should an occasional overnight stay be required.
Minimum Requirements to be considered for this role:
Full UK Driving Licence
You must understand H&S in the workplace
You must be self-motivated, driven, customer focused and possess excellent communications skills
You need to meet the requirements of an enhanced criminal records disclosure
You need to be able to meet the physical requirements of the role
Good computer literacy
Great attention to detail
Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to test and calibrate equipment and to provide a service that exceeds customer expectations.
Be confident to explain to the customer any necessary amendments and adjustments that have been made to the equipment.
