As a Field Engineer, you will be working across the Midlands area, providing technical input and support to customers in this region. This would cover Birmingham and surrounding areas.
Engineering technical experience coupled with your construction related experience will make you a suitable candidate for this role. This role could lead you to be working on construction sites and also design/customer offices so you will need to be able to adapt to your surroundings.
Candidates without constuction experience will also be considered.

What does the role involve?
In the role of Field Engineer you will provide engineering support and coverage to both consulting engineers and focused customers, to secure specifications and provide a valuable engineering service. No two days will be the same - you'll could be working on-site one day and then working with the office technical team the next.
You will also provide technical support and training to the company’s personnel and customers to ensure the delivery of a high quality engineering support service at all times.
You'll need to plan and prioritise your day to ensure optimum use of time and cost, so good organisational skills will be required.

What you need is:
Degree in Structural/Civil or Mechanical Engineering
A good knowledge of the construction industry, and the design and construction process
Strong ability to network and develop business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
Experience of working within the construction industry (commecial or consultancy)
