We are looking for a Production Engineer – Wokingham.
This company designs and manufactures the worlds cutting edge passport authentication, ticket validation, document scanners and entry systems in secure sites globally.
Ideal candidate will be a British/EU national required for security environment, worked in Electronic/electromechanical assembly environments
Ideal candidate will have worked in electronic bias Electro-Mechanical assembly PRODUCT based environments
Skilled in current production best practice and Lean Six Sigma methodology
Create and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture new products.
Be visible in all areas of production and become familiar with the current production processes and instructions. Review existing documentation and procedures for the production and test of current and new products with an objective of increasing efficiency.
Devise engineering production solutions in response to development, hardware, manufacturing, and operational needs.
Implement prompt corrective action and provide engineering solutions to errors that may arise through designing and manufacturing process.
Promote a strong and efficient teamwork culture within the production and engineering teams and represent the production department at engineering and product development meetings.
Work closely with production department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.

Analyse production faults and implement processes to reduce and eventually eliminate build errors.
Follow and implement strict Health and Safety standards and procedures
Periodically assist with the admin required for the Repairs Department.
