UK Field Services has over 50 years’ experience working in the construction industry. Our core business is the delivery of projects and programmes in partnership with our clients. We have a wide and diverse pool of experienced resources using proven delivery systems and processes that are benchmarked as best in class.
To manage Project Quality including overseeing or generating Quality documentation, Quality plans, Inspection and test plans, etc for a specific project or multiple projects
Verifying through monitoring, surveillance, audit and review the effectiveness and implementation of the quality managements system.
Contribute to procurement management activities, by evaluating and auditing suppliers to both 9001 and the AWE are RR Quality control requirements, including ITT process and review and approval of contractor PQPs
Plan and ensure closure of Project improvement activities such as NCN’s and Lessons Learned
Plan, implement and report on Project internal audits
Carry out Supplier audits. Review approve supplier Quality plans and ITP’s
Witness FAT, SAT tests, in line with I&TP requirements
Carry out all on site visual welding inspection, if suitable qualified
Working with the Project Team to ensure adequate Quality Function expertise is available at the appropriate project delivery point (e.g. supply chain management, construction, commissioning, handover).
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Must be UK national and hold Security clearance, must be PAYE
Desirable: Experience of working at AWE
Professional / academic qualification associated with Quality management, Construction, M&E welding/heavy fabrication
Membership of an appropriate Quality professional body (CQI preferred)
Auditor trained (IRCA Lead preferred)
CSWIP level 2 as a minimum
Be willing to work on a Nuclear licenced site
Effective oral/written presentation skills
Ability to prioritise task execution in the context of tight programme constraints
Ability to analyse situations objectively
Good negotiating and conflict resolution skills
