Email Marketing Executive
Marketing Communications Manager
Main Function of Role
The successful candidate will join a global and creative team of marketing professionals, working closely with web, design, digital, lead generation and events specialists to engage with a global scientific audience. Specifically, tasks include researching and building lists, creating and distributing emails, analysing and reporting on campaigns and lead management. Other digital marketing activities, as required.
Key Tasks and Duties
Develop and implement an email marketing strategy that engages a global scientific audience, grows the Andor and Imaris brands, and generates leads for the international sales teams. Ensure all campaigns comply with current industry best practice.
Work with product managers and application specialists to develop and deliver text and HTML-based emails in-line with the Content Marketing Strategy.
Identify target audiences, build recipient lists, carry out database segmentation and conduct a regular audit of contacts.
Implement dynamic remarketing strategies, building workflows and managing automated trigger emails to deliver a seamless UX journey and maximise lead generation.
Act as the Marketing Team’s CRM and lead management contact, which includes elevation of leads, ownership of best practice and management of lead sources.
Support the Inside Account Executive in working with Regional Sales Engineers to execute localised email campaigns.
Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to enhance performance across all Andor and Imaris digital platforms, including social media.
Provide timely email marketing performance updates, with a focus on lead generation, to the Marketing Communications Manager.
Leverage Oxford Instruments' regional marketing resources to deliver effective localised campaigns.
Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager.

Training and Education
2:1 degree or higher in Marketing, Engineering, Computing or a similar, relevant discipline
Minimum of 24 months marketing experience, to include the management of digital / email campaigns.
Undergraduate degree or higher experience of the following:
- Customer-focused campaign planning and reporting
- Mail distribution software
- Marketing automation software
Undergraduate degree experience or higher of the following:
- CRM platforms
- Adobe Creative Suite
