We are looking for someone who is motivated and ambitious with a enthusiasm and drive to work in projects involving transactional work (e.g. construction or other commercial work streams).
We will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds and experience. It is not necessary for the candidate to have experience specifically in construction or energy work. The successful candidate would be integrated into a supportive and motivated team where training will be given to get the candidate up to speed. This role is perfect for a candidate that has a good grounding in some form of commercial / transactional work that wishes to diversify.

You will be joining a highly respected Department who have advised on some award winning projects. The team is experienced in project finance, public private partnerships, construction and engineering, and commercial transactions.

The team has an exceptional reputation in acting for project developers, project companies, contractors, local authorities and sub-contractors.
Advise on interesting and innovative projects that directly contribute to addressing the UK’s climate emergency
Have lots of client contact and responsibility – but appropriate to your knowledge and expertise
Receive support, training and development by senior members of the team
Be encouraged to develop business development skills
2 – 10+ years PQE - however we may be interested in less or more experienced candidates depending on the nature of your experience
A passion to learn, enthusiasm and the desire to excel as a lawyer
Experience of working in a team and coordinating advice with fee earners from other disciplines
Knowledge of key areas of the law and the ability to deliver clear, precise and practical advice
