Project Engineer (E&I) Location: Bradford Department: Supply Chain Job Grade: 14
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take a lead E&I engineer role within large or small projects to a value of £1m. • Provide technical expertise to the project team including developing conceptual designs for E&I and automation, developing ITT for E&I equipment including installation • Work with external providers where necessary to manage detailed design • Responsible for purchase of E&I equipment to suit hazardous area classification (DSEAR, ATEX) • Provide technical support to construction supervisor, participate in installation checks and pre-commissioning. • Responsible for HV/LV distribution working with site Electrical engineer. • Manage/participate in projects to deliver to the defined KPIs for safety, schedule, budget and scope. • Ensure compliance with site standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. • Provide E&I support to operations and maintenance. Be part of the on call rota for site HV/LV problems
- Degree in Electrical/Control Engineering or equivalent • Experience gained working in a project environment in the manufacturing industry would be a benefit. • DSEAR, ATEX, IEE Wiring regs, CDM regs, Safety instrumented systems, HV/LV electrical distribution, Fire systems, Microsoft office
