As the Product Manager you will be responsible for researching, understanding, and finally communicating the needs of the customers to the Product & Marketing Manager and eventually throughout the entire business. This communication finds its importance especially with the product engineering team who will use it to enhance and improve the product.
As the Junior Product Manager you will work with the Sales teams as well as the Project/Product Engineers in order to produce well-written recommendations, preferably in narrative form and supported by statistics. Working with the Product & Marketing Manager, the Junior Product Manager develops an intimate understanding of the customer base and what is important to them. This knowledge is used to identify opportunities for the business’s product.
Develop compelling market briefs and present the business case to the board, for business buy-in and investment allocation.
Operate as the product champion, creating intimate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Accountable for meeting product objectives within agreed timescales and budgets.
Understand market segments, drivers and opportunities in order to develop segmented strategies, including competitor benchmarking / analysis
Understand market trends and dynamics to formulate strategic responses to maintain/develop market leadership.
The junior Product Manager is responsible for analyzing market trends and sales performance in order to avail informed recommendations for the product. The Junior Product Manager also analyses competitor activity in order to provide the business’s product with a competitive edge over competition.
Creation of product/feature briefs that can be converted into technical requirements for the project engineers (including SaaS / Data as required).
Strategic Roadmap Contribution:
The Junior Product Manager works to define product enhancements and strategies (including Form68 with the Engineering Manager).
The Junior Product Manager also has an obligation to collaborate with the Product & Marketing Manager in maintaining plan integration and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives. The Junior Product Manager works within the product management team as well as other product teams in determining product vision, positioning, and direction.
Product Lifecycle Management:
The Junior Product Manager is responsible for the identification of new opportunities, service improvements, and cost reductions. In addition, the Junior Product Manager contributes to the determination of pricing and profitability of the product, inclusive of the approval of special pricing where necessary. (Pricing needs to be in conjunction with the Commercial Manager and Head of Product Management & Marketing)
Supports Sales and Marketing Activities:
The Junior Product Manager aligns product launch activities with marketing activities. This is achieved through the furnishing of the sales team with competitor analysis, market analysis, business performance analysis, and other research information. In this capacity, he/she also ensures that the product literature is accurate and relevant.
Working with the Product & Marketing Manager, the Junior Product Manager develops an intimate understanding of the customer base and what is important to them. This knowledge is used to identify opportunities for the business’s product.

- Ideally 1+ years of relevant experience in product management
- Technical ability and understanding from enabling hardware to customer user interface.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects to completion and within deadlines (Project

- Ability to analyse data and present requirements into the business (including design skills)
- High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise & support with documentation
