What our Materials Engineers do
Based at our Teesside locations in the North East of England, the role of Graduate Materials Engineer is perfect for you if want an opportunity that will give you hands-on experience from day one. At Mitsubishi Chemical our graduates don’t sit on the side-lines; you become vital team members as soon as you walk through the door.
You will join one of our multi-discipline asset engineering teams, working to ensure that our manufacturing plants operate safely and reliably or executing the improvement or new-build projects that underpin our continue business success.

The skills we’re looking for
You must have at least (or expect to have) a 2:1 Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering, or Mechanical and Materials Engineering (or equivalent). We’re looking for passionate individuals who want to take their engineering careers further in the chemical industry and have the potential to become the future leaders in our company. Any relevant work experience would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Driven and committed with a strong team ethic, you’ll need to have a high degree of personal accountability.
