Job Description as Construction Engineer with Stork:
The individual will be able to perform all stages of EPCM project delivery for the construction management works. The Construction Engineer shall be responsibility for all aspects of the Construction Works in accordance with Company HSEQ Procedures including development and implementation of all Safety, Construction Plans and Procedures
This role requires close cooperation and liaison with the Project Manager, Commissioning Manager and Client Project and Operations personnel.
Responsible for adhering to Stork’s directive, procedures, instructions and specifications within the discipline and for ensuring that these are in line with the regulatory requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Construction Engineer:
Fully knowledgeable of the legislative requirements surrounding HSEQ aspects pertaining to their area of responsibility.
Foster and promote a positive working environment and attitude that reflects the Project Mission Statement, Company's Ethics and Code of Conduct and Client values
Development and communication of overall Construction Strategy in Conjunction with Project Management
Development of Construction Schedule in accordance with overall Project Management
Attendance at Design/Safety Reviews for Constructability and Safety input to Engineering and Scope Development
Input and review of weekly progress reports and monthly Construction & Commissioning reports with Project Controls
Review the Construction Status weekly, ensure reports are generated and presented, and maintain Client communications and relationship throughout the project
Overall co-ordination and management of Construction and Fabrication works with Construction Supervision and Contractors
Input and review of Construction Contract status with Contracts Engineer
Arrange and consult competent specialist advice as necessary
Participation in industry initiatives as required
Interfacing with regulatory and independent verification bodies as required

Specific Requirements for Construction Engineer:
Skills / Knowledge
Qualified to HND / Degree in suitable Engineering discipline
Preferable 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the oil and gas offshore/onshore sector.
Significant experience in Oil & Gas brownfield EPCM Projects.
Proven track record construction/site management.
Excellent technical communication and coordination skills.
