Nuvia are looking for a HVAC Engineer to work on permanent basis within the team based in Warrington.

HVAC Engineer Role overview:
Main purpose of the role:
As the HVAC Engineer you will be design focused and have hands on design experience
As HVAC Engineer you will be responsible for delivering a package of work within a project and have frequent liaison with other disciplines in the design team.
Key responsibilities as a HVAC Engineer…
Project Management including quality, progress and cost control including documentation.
Sales Support and Customer care
Normally responsible for tasks(s) with value up to £750k
Responsible for managing subcontracts which may be up to £250k
Making principle technical contribution to winning over £75k/annum of additional business
Responsible for scheme design, performing one off calculations, checking standard calculations
Prepare supporting “bespoke” calculations
Checking designs and calculations prepared by others
Preparation of installation, commissioning and operating documents
Position of the HVAC Engineer within the organisation:
Reporting to the Senior Engineer or Design Manager you will interact with engineers of other disciplines internally and externally. You may also be responsible for managing project subcontracts.
Ideally you will have the following skills, experience and attributes…
Minimum HNC qualification or equivalent gained within a relevant discipline e.g. Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrable competence gained in a design delivery position
Technical design experience in HVAC which will include conceptual design, design calculations and data sheets
Demonstrable relevant experience gained in the nuclear industry or in the marine, chemical plant or building services industries.
Containment and radioactive project experience is highly desirable
Work well within a team and with minimal supervision
Ability to obtain a security clearance is essential
A full UK drivers licence as travelling between offices may be required
