You will have the opportunity to work as a key member of our experienced Business Value Consulting and Solutions teams in supporting the closure of 7 figure opportunities spanning multiple verticals.
Key Role Objectives:
Prospect Qualification: The VE aids in identifying opportunities to ensure they are aligned with Software AG’s go-to market product and solution capabilities.
Opportunity Responsibility: For key opportunities, the VE is the single point of contact for Sales and is responsible for customer engagement and creating a business case to support customer decision making.
Standards Adherence: The VE is required to document customer financial analysis, workshop outputs and business value assessments to a high quality standard and present / share internally as required.
Prospect and Customer Facing
Gathering and analysing in-depth business, technical, and financial information to understand the baseline and future capability of the client proposition.
Aligning strategic business and technical objectives / initiatives with the appropriate solutions.
Conducting gap analyses of clients’ current versus desired states, identifying specific opportunities for benefit realisation.
Financial Analysis and manipulation including ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR, Cash flow Analysis.
You should have experience of developing and presenting clear and concise Business Cases and Value Assessments:
Proven ability to unearth business requirements & Drivers
Proven ability to map business drivers & initiatives to technology offering & differentiators
Proven ability to articulate validated business value
The ability to lead Discovery and Customer Assessment Meetings to identify business value and ROI for complex business challenges.
You should have experience in engaging with senior leaders (CxO level) on various solutions and business problems. Able to listen and analyse a prospect’s requirements and present compelling business value messaging of a solution.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
5+ years / Value Consulting / Presales experience preferably in Enterprise Software
Experience of Value Engineering in Enterprise Software is a critical requirement of this role
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to review and support POCs, SOWs, and project planning involving Software AG technologies to incorporate Proof of Value messaging.
Exchange best practices and share knowledge within broader, global VE Community
Maintain high standards of internal reporting and planning.
This role requires UK Travel up to 20% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
