We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer, reporting directly to the Deputy Service Delivery Team Lead, to join our UK Operating Centre team of Process Engineers based in either Aberdeen, London or Stavanger.
About the job
To help support our growth we’re looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team to provide Process analysis and technical support to the various projects undertaken by the team. You will provide technical input for timely completion of studies and effectively communicate findings to clients and other disciplines. This role is required due to an increase in demand for Process services within Genesis and will perform engineering calculations, run proprietary software and design packages and contribute to basis for design and project specifications. You will be joining a well-respected dynamic team with a strong reputation for excellence and will receive support from the wider Process Group. Based in the Aberdeen, London or Stavanger office and reporting into the Deputy Service Delivery Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring completion of safe and operable designs in accordance with Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulation and codes. You will also be required to develop engineering solutions to specific project requirements and will have the ability to work independently with support from the wider team. The role also presents an opportunity to work on both local and international studies.

You will need to possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering (or related subject), have previous experience in Process with experience in upstream oil and gas and be Chartered (UK only). Experience of preparing PFDs and P&IDs are essential for this role, along with a proficient use of Hysys.
Minimum 4 years experience.
Proficient with process simulation (e.g. HYSYS/UNISIM).
Experience of design and specification of major equipment items (e.g. separators, compressors, pumps).
Experience of design of pressure relief and blowdown facilities.
Preparation of Heat & Mass Balances PFDs, P&IDs.
Awareness of related discipline activities (technical safety, environmental, mechanical, piping and layouts, CE&I).
Good report writing and presentation skills.
Able to work independently and within integrated local and virtual teams.
Excellent oral and written English.
Exposure to upstream oil and gas industry
Awareness of Operator value drivers and Capital Value Processes.
Process modelling software skills (HYSYS/Unisim; OLGA/ Pipesim).
CCS, Hydrogen, Refinery, Digital and/or Marketing considered to be valuable
Good oral and written Norwegian, if applying for position in Stavanger
