Consumer Servicing will give you the opportunity to work in a fun diverse team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers & colleagues in transforming & digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internet banking. The transformation culture Consumer Servicing lives by is to empower its co-located teams to build dynamic environments using agile methodology, including scrum, ultimately providing outstanding customer experiences.
What we're looking for:Essential:
Experience of working in a dynamic agile delivery environment Testing web applications.
Experienced in defining Quality Engineering deliverables producing quality Test artefacts.
Technical specialist expertise with experience in BDD and ATDD with a shift left continuous testing mindset
An automation first Test approach with a passion for driving efficiency and a focus on reducing risk.
Proficient experience with toolsets including Selenium, Cucumber, Saucelabs, Jenkins , gherkin, Unified Functional Testing Tool, CypressIO, NodeJS
Significant Problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Very good communication skills which allow the candidate to explain complex problems effortlessly as well as interact with the team effectively
Excitement about enabling others to achieve greater results than one can achieve alone and being part of a wider delivery team responsible for end to end solutions.
Confidence to express own opinions, and be pragmatic about modifying them when appropriate
You'll be a strong advocate of industry trends, innovation and continuous improvement demonstrating how we can remain competitive in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to pivot and adapt to changing requirements whilst maintaining a consistent attention to detail
Enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working, with a strong work ethic
A genuine teammate with a can do attitude – someone who enjoys working both independently and collaborating within a team
What you'll be doing:
Improving and enriching our existing test suites by adding new tests that are well crafted, efficient, maintainable and readable
Create Test artefacts in line with an agreed Test Strategy, writing automation Test scripts against user stories and maintaining Test traceability.
Identifying defects and working with the squad team to provide fixes preventing defect leakage. Helping to capture lessons learnt to prevent similar issues in the future.
Ensure that Testing is conducted in a way which is consistent with - and exploits the collective frameworks, patterns and best practices that exist across the lab
Open to new “thought process” and Change mindset, bring in new ways of working/ innovative and creative ways of delivering “Quality”
Ensuring your area of responsibility is aligned with overall test strategies and transformation, pushing boundaries and seeking opportunities to improve.
Supporting junior colleagues within the team to build the capabilities of others to ensure the team across the directorate is successful.
