- You will be Assisting in the delivery of project tasks.
- Working as part of a team of engineers and planners on projects.
- You will be required to produce drawings, undertake analysis using a variety of models and computer packages and write reports.
- Play an active and positive role within Jacobs' project teams.
- Attend design team meetings.
- On occasions you may be required to liaise with clients and essential stakeholders.
- Y ou will be working towards, an accredited BEng (Honours) or MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), ideally 2(i) or above.
- Working in a project-based environment you will have developed a clear communication style, have proven team working skills and demonstrate a strong customer focus.
- An inquisitive nature with a desire to learn.
- Experience of AutoCAD
- Experience using Microsoft Office
You will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to refer to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer general aspirations as a recognised inclusive and diverse employer.
Successful candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Pre-Employment check and will be required to undergo various checks including: Identity, Right to Work; Employment/Education History and Criminal Record.
