We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with good experience of manufacturing engineering, to support the commissioning and improvement of the process plant and equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. A high level of awareness of good health and safety practice is essential as the individual will be responsible for the safety of themselves and others within the site.
To provide engineering support within the operations function, evaluating and improving the process, using analytical tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the plant and equipment. Deliver world class process performance by eliminating non-value adding elements and increasing reliability, this is a hands-on role requiring engineering experience combined with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team ethic

KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of ONC/D HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in a semi-automated production environment
Experience of working in teams and delivering tangible and sustainable improvement
Strong H&S experience and knowledge with a working understanding of best practices
Is able to agree and manage a budget.
Is able to use business systems and analytical software to a high standard which enables the effective administration of the Technical and QA areas, e.g.:Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint
