Our Internship Placement Programme is an opportunity for UK and International students to undertake work experience during or after their studies at University. Applicants must be currently studying towards or recently completed their degree (within the last two years). We are looking for an Intern to join our team for a period of 6 months starting from April 2020 to December 2020
We want you to get the most out of your time at Bentley and when you start you will sit down with your placement manager and discuss your objectives - both business and personal. You will then have a set of deliverables, which will really challenge and stretch you, so at the end of the internship you will have developed professionally and personally.
Our Chassis Engineering team is at the heart of the business and your main Objective and Responsibilities are:
Automated scripts for our function/diagnostic test to run on Hardware in the Loop rig test
Architecture- interface with Porsche counterpart and populate new signals (in German) for additional features for TPMS
Assist in definition of FuSi and Diagnostic security related documents
Build understanding of forthcoming legislations for the over the air updates
We know that everyone and every role is important in our ongoing success. We are looking for an extraordinary person who is studying for or have completed a degree in a related subject within the last 2 years and are on target to achieve or achieved a 2:1 or above.
We understand that you may have limited work experience but you should have well-developed problem solving and analytical skills, possess good interpersonal skills, initiative and the enthusiasm to achieve. Quality in our business is top priority and we need individuals who can demonstrate a high focus on quality and a right first time attitude.
Skills and experience required:
Experience/ understanding of electro-mechanical systems and software control
Specific technical knowledge or qualifications required:
Must be studying towards a Product Development/ Mechatronics related Degree
German language skills proficiency
