About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a BID DEVELOPER to join our Power Transmission & Distribution business based in Derby.
To take a key role within the bid team which involves researching, writing, managing and facilitating bidding from expression of interest through to tender award.
What you'll be doing
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for following:
Accountable to the Bid Manager for writing responsibility across the range of bidding opportunities;
Accountable to the Bid Manager for managing specific areas of bids;
Liaison / coordination with other members of the team and the wider business;
Development of all aspects of the Knowledge Data base – including data sheets and company/contract information;
Support for other teams including Marketing / BD Managers / and the wider business on a range or writing activities.

You will have the following qualities and experience:
Good research and writing skills
Good eye for detail and quality of documents
Good appreciation of design and presentation material / submissions
Knowledge of the construction sector desirable
