We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst Developer to join our team and be involved in the development and support of a broad range of bespoke in-house systems and the integration and configuration of COTS systems. You will be working closely with scientific staff to ensure that software user requirements are clearly understood. You will also be providing ad-hoc analysis and programming support for activities across the organisation as required.
You will be educated to degree level (ideally 1st or 2:1) in an IT related subject. You will have experience of using Microsoft or Java technologies to develop software for use in a production environment. You will also have exposure to project management, project methodologies and Object-Oriented programming. Experience in C# is essential.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a creative approach to problem-solving, flexible and highly self-motivated with great attention to detail. You will have the willingness and ability to learn quickly a wide range of new skills whilst being able to work well under pressure to strict deadlines.
