Our talented engineers in the Enforcement Support Team are responsible for supporting bespoke solutions delivered internationally which address Civil and Criminal traffic violations like Clean Air Zones, Average Speed and Bus Lane enforcement.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Support Engineer looking to become a key player and complement our existing Team. Must be a customer focussed, well organised and enthusiastic individual comfortable with coordinating resource.
Be the point of contact for our customers and work proactively to support our range of solutions and ensure that they can do their bit in addressing local challenges with road transport and the environment:
Provide exceptional support for our bespoke enforcement solutions via onsite and remote working techniques resolving a range of complex hardware and software issues.
Provide technical leadership on all aspects if the Siemens Enforcement product within the Support Team
Work collaboratively and coordinate team members to ensure mutual success and delivering consistent levels of service in line with contracted SLAs.
Ensure that operational processes and tasks are adhered to and understood by the Team and where necessary review and implement process to ensure the effectiveness and scope of day-to-day support operations is sufficient.
Maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers and attend service review meetings in the absence of the Service Delivery Manager as required.
Lead technical presentations, demonstrations and evaluations of the product and issues to ensure effective discussion and progression with the Development and Solution Teams.
Influence PLM and Development activities to meet customers needs and focus product improvements.
Coordinate scheduled works such as software patching and updates and other preventative works.
Ensure that field resource including sub-contractors is effectively coordinated and contractual process is followed to achieve SLAs safely and efficiently.
Experience working with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing and repairing.
Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems including Win7, Win10, Windows Server 2008-2016.
Understanding of SQL and possesses ability create queries to manipulate and retrieve data.
Exceptional technical communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in the Parking or Traffic Enforcement industry advantageous
Any ITIL qualifications would be beneficial to your application
Experience leading a team of technical resource would be advantageous
Comfortable having flexibility with working hours as part of your job.
Happy to travel across the UK to support customer systems. With full UK driving licence.
