Lotus are in a phase of growth and are expanding on the current production models after record sales and heavy investment. Due to the aforementioned we have a need for a Customer Support Engineers to support our ongoing special projects.
At Lotus we are proud of our heritage and our dedication to supporting our customers worldwide. Our customer support engineers work on our latest advanced products to provide support to minimise vehicle down time and customer inconvenience.
The role will see you attend third party premises for vehicle introduction, familiarisation and training to become proficient in construction and deconstruction processes to competent and in field services levels.
You will provide regular feedback to all stakeholders on all service and maintenance issues encountered and partner with parts supply to ensure all parts, batteries and consumable stocks are available at required location ahead of scheduled requirements.
As a Customer Support Engineer, you will provide global level support for customer Track & PR events, including pre & post transportation preparation, liaising with approved carrier in support of global vehicle movements.
There will be global travel involved with these roles and often at short notice.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential & Desirable criteria)
You will be degree educated in Electrical / Automotive Engineering (or equivalent related experience) and be able to call up on several years of experience within Automotive / Motorsport /Formula E Industries. Your experience within these industries will have given you exposure working on detailed HEV projects and full spectrum of vehicle telemetry.
You will be able to draw upon your experience working on high value special automotive products to ensure all work is completed to the high highest of standard working on right first-time principles.
You will have relevant training and experience to be compliant with associated Health & Safety in terms of workshop supervision including HEV.
