We are seeking a systems design engineer to join the Seekers and Datalink Systems team, to design the architecture and to develop the technical requirements for a seeker.

You will be able to demonstrate your systems engineering experience,
You will be able to demonstrate exposure to system requirements, as well as developing system architecture models and configuration control.
You will be able to demonstrate your interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider functions and departments.
You will have knowledge of DOORS, Rhapsody or other SysML tools.
You will be able to discuss, hardware, firmware or software design constraints.

The role will involve applying key systems engineering principals, to deliver key requirements in line with the customer needs and aspirations.
Architecture definition and assessment. Develop and maintain seeker system architecture models in Rhapsody, define system architecture flow down to sub-systems, carry out system functional and behavioural studies. Perform trade-off studies.
Hardware, firmware and software requirements definition – carry out design studies and derive sub-system requirements, interfaces and constraints.
Providing support to integration and testing teams in capturing test requirements and plans in DOORS.
Configuration control of the design definition using the approved company tools.
