Learn the Provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation and calibration of Topcon products.
Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision/direction, the installation of Topcon equipment in accordance with company and installation procedures on site with customers, ensuring products are in working order prior to sign off.
Calibrate Topcon products as identified and when needed.
Under supervision/direction, provide post installation support to customers including onsite repairs.
Deal with technical enquires from customer or staff at Topcon, escalating complex issues and enquires to the Installation Engineers.
Provide excellent customer service through the customer lifecycle.
Provide support and cover for service as and when needed.
Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
Maintain a good working relationship with other departments.
Work within the confines of the General Data Protection Regulations; respecting the rights of Data Subjects and ensuring that personal data is processed and described in the Company’s Data Protection Policy.
Assist in other areas of the company's operations (within capabilities) and other duties as required.
Previous experience as an installation engineer would be beneficial, but willingness to learn of the job.
Electrically or mechanical qualified or part qualified
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the principles and processes to providing first class customer services.
Good communication and coordination skills, enabling clear and accurate delivery of information to customers.
Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, CRM systems.
Ability to read and understand electronic and wiring schematic drawings.
Able to manage own workload whilst maintaining flexibility in job role.
Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage various deadlines and duties.
Good problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Full driving license with regular travel throughout the UK.
