Our client is currently going through an exciting time in its transformation and striving to meet the evolving needs of the business. Therefore they are currently seeking a Sharepoint/Office 365 Developer on a contract basis to help to drive O365 adoption and maximise the return on against the million pound O365 investment.
This is a key position in which you will:
Meet our goal to migrate to Office 365 from on premise platforms hosting telephony, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerBI and File Share data.
Be responsible for the coordination, planning and supervision of activities relating to the Office 365 platform across the Group, including migration, on boarding activities, deployments, implementation of changes and 3rd line support.
Support the Business Applications Manager in all aspects of Office 365 development functions to ensure that standards are developed and adhered to in order to produce reliable high quality Office 365 solutions.
Work collaboratively and in partnership with other members of the ICT team to deliver a seamless service to customers and offer VFM.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a degree level education or equivalent experience in SharePoint development.
Have expert knowledge on Office 365 package software including (MS Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, Planner, Workflow and other), able to setup, improve, implement and automate solutions using the package.
Have an understanding of Agile life-cycle.
Demonstrate sharePoint development experience working on medium/large development projects.
Demonstrate experience of developing SharePoint architecture/development standards and procedures.
Use best Practice approaches in defining a strategy for O365 and other common tasks such as creating O365 templates, and business process workflows.
This is a contract position for a 6-12 month duration, working from home is the current role status therefore the contractors location isn't of paramount importance.
