You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products.
You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. You'll come in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development via Agile frameworks. Best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists all over the world.
A seasoned agile engineer and technologist is required to be a key part of the team developing and supporting our business across the global organization. You will partner with the Product Owner to drive the technical direction of the platform in addition to being a hands-on member of the team.
Your duties will include all aspects of development, providing best in class solutions across multiple software engineering disciplines. Utilize Agile methodology and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. You will actively contribute to software and architecture design that address business needs within mature technology environments. Design, develop, code, test, debug and document to adhere to business requirements and security standards. You will create, review and design functional specification prepared by other team members. You will collaborate with team and propose solutions for any problems identified by the team. You will handle deployment operations for all environments. You will adhere to code quality standards across the firm, LOB, and organization. You will application support for all environments as part of a DevOps culture. You will collaborate with the production management team to safely deploy applications to the production environment ensuring that the deliveries meet application performance criteria, release standards, and ensure application and system stability. You will collaborate with many lines of business technology teams and across the organization.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
