Salary circa £45,000 - £52,000

The Opportunity: The Senior Developer (Online Learning Systems) reports into the Head of Development. You will primarily focus on;
Leading in the development of the university’s Learning platforms by contributing to the planning & delivery and software used across multiple products and organizational departments.
Contributing to the Arden learning experience through the delivery of innovative software solutions in support of broader strategies.
Be fully involved in the full software development lifecycle.
Develop and support other members of the Development and Operations team in building industry-leading products using robust architectural practices.
Help manage day-to-day software maintenance and support activities.
A key aspect also will be to mentor and support more junior members of the development team.
The Person: You will have a successful track record as a Developer. We will be looking for you to bring your knowledge and experience to the table working with Online Learning Management Systems & Virtual Learning Platforms (Moodle preferred). We do have plenty of other tool, tech and applications that we want you to be familiar with, all of which can be found in the Job Description. We also want you to lead and deliver workshops, analyse and interpret data, but above all bring your initiative to create solutions to a range of problems. You can bring the skills and we can provide the environment where the work you do impacts students across the globe daily and where the work you do makes a difference.
