We are looking for a 3 x Heating Engineers – Permanent Role
We are looking to appoint 3 suitably qualified and experienced individuals to undertake the new post of Heating Engineer within the Heating Compliance Team.
Here is some key information you’ll want to know right away:
- This is a permanent role
- Salary is £31,419 per annum
- Location to be agreed: Stanley/Newburn
- Regular travel will be required within the North East area. Exact patch to be decided post interview
- Fully stocked company van provided
- Hours: 37 Hours per week on a working pattern rota
- You will be required to participate in the standby rota for out of hours emergencies, which attracts additional payments.
- Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service, occupational pension, flexi-time scheme, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
These roles are to fill two additional posts and one vacancy within our Heating Compliance teams, both North and South. The successful applicant must be fully qualified to undertake works on gas installations with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience in service, repair and fault finding. We would also welcome applications from those with suitable qualifications and experience in both oil and solid fuel service and repair.
If successful, you would be carrying out landlord safety checks on a variety of heating appliances, ensuring the safety of customers in their homes.

Following initial interview, we will also ask you to complete some short practical tests in our training bay at Newburn depot. All equipment will be provided, and our own COVID risk assessments will be followed at all times.
