Your new role
As a Project Manager you will oversee all aspects of the building process working closely with the Design team, Engineers and Architects to develop a plan and establish a timetable to determine labour and material costs for your project.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time and within scope. Your Main duties for the job will be: planning, distributing resources, time management, risk management, creating benchmarks, managing the budgets, managing of staff, subcontractors and the relationships of key stakeholders.
Your job will be based in Inverness and report directly to the Construction Director.
What you will need to succeed
You will have a strong building background in delivering affordable housing projects with a minimum value of £8M+ and experience of delivering all the associated external works, roads, sewers and landscaping. It is essential you have good programming and subcontractor management skills.
Your job will require you to have a good knowledge of Design & Build projects and procedures. You will be expected to prepare monthly progress reports, have a high expectation on quality and can communicate with the key stakeholders very well through written or verbal communication.
You will be able to evidence your ability to manage a multi-trade construction team and deliver projects on time; budget and safely. You will have a 5-day CITB SMSTS, 3-day First Aid Certificate and a Management CSCS card.
