Main Purpose of Role:
The Project Engineer will lead, direct, and manage non routine and business operations across the organisation. The post holder will work with operational & commercial colleagues, external clients and linked providers and be responsible for all aspects of maintenance operations ensuring delivery of services in line with client contracts, providing high quality and positive outcomes for service users.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering, this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Knowledge of commercial techniques, tools, and principles Excellent Management skills
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Good organisational, IT and Time Management skills
Good numeracy and literacy.
Self-motivated and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience of recording accurate data and attention to detail.
Be reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
Able to communicate in a professional manner and in a pressurised operational environment
Five GCSE’s grade C and above including English & Math’s or other appropriate qualification
Technical qualification in Engineering e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds
Current valid UK driving licence
Awareness of Health and Safety Policy & Procedures. (esp. HSAWA, COSHH)
Willing to travel/work away from home
